Movement, Sounds, Other

1. Motionless you serve each pulse in gratitude

2. Hidden, you pluck-cut each orb and send it earthward

3. Thuds of hard orbs
Crashes of the heavy faux-lacy fronds that feed them

4. Religious music like so much ordnance penetrates the air with explosive cadence of its intent

5. Are there languages of hate whose sound is sickening to the ear, to the heart, even if they're spoken by the great grandchildren of the perpetrators?

6. Sweat pours, soaks, then gushes
A surprise against the still air

7. You stand in the shady sandy entranceway
Its coarse semi-cleanliness
Like still coolish concrete paving blocks
Before the sun goes too high
